Inside Sales Manager

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated, self-starting, and hungry Inside Sales Manager, who will report to our COO. The Sales Manager will help generate new business through inbound and outbound opportunities and conduct introductory conversations with executives to fuel our growth. The position will have great opportunities for advancement. Our expectation is this inside position will grow to an outside territory after proven pipeline development and management.


  • Research leads and initiate outreach efforts via email and phone, including cold calling, to support company initiatives

  • Meet or exceed targets for qualified prospect meetings and client acquisition

  • Manage event attendee lists for sales and marketing events and manage those lists in order to identify and communicate with potential leads

  • Secure appointments and follow up appropriately with all contacts

  • Educate and network with key prospect and client contacts

  • Track and update customer sales information and status of pipelines in CRM system (HubSpot) 

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, business development and other team members

  • Participate in prospect meetings with travel



  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1-5 years of full-time corporate inside sales experience (enterprise software sales a plus)

  • Demonstrated success in inside sales/or lead generation

  • Ability to prospect and build funnel of leads

  • Desire to work in fast-paced, challenging environment

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage challenging conversations in a professional manner

  • Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals

  • Superb customer service and relationship building capabilities

  • Strong ownership, competitive spirit, bias for action and willingness to roll-up your sleeves

  • Prior experience with HubSpot and CRM software is highly preferred

  • Experience working with a start-up or small business a plus
