Software Engineer (All Levels)

We are a small innovative company commercializing patented MIT research, with the potential to transform the way software modernization is done.  We are building a software development team that will drive this new technology forward.  Your job will be to help develop our core product and to work interactively with our customers to develop customized solutions that solve their biggest problems.

Colorado Springs, CO – hybrid on-site/remote (approx. 50/50 % of the time each)

Job Activities

  • Python development within our core product suite

  • Have direct customer interaction to get feedback and customize deliverables

  • Develop code that analyzes large complex codebases via static and dynamic analysis

  • Use Scientific Python, Pandas, SciPy, NumPy, SqlAlchemy, and Graph libraries

  • Create and customize tools to help automate developer workflows

  • Visualize and present metrics, possibly with dynamic visualization libraries

  • Automation/configuration management using scripts, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, AWS CloudFormation

  • Development of scripts to automate tasks on Linux and Windows virtual machines

  • Help our customers transform complex systems by customizing our product to support:

                 o Programming languages: Java, Python, Web, C/C++, etc.

                 o Build systems: Make, Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc.

                 o CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, etc.

                 o Version control: Git, Subversion, etc.

                 o Cloud technologies: Containers, Microservices, Kubernetes, etc.



Education

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
